I've got 1.8 hubcarriers, hubs and calipers all ready for the swap onto my 1.5 but was wondering how difficult it will be to get the 1.5 hubs off?

You will need a hydraulic press or a big bad hammer!
Not an easy task if you press them out of the factory bearings..
If they were changed before it will be easier.
Cross fingers to get them out easy!

press what out? I don't need to press any bearings out. The hubcarriers have the hubs in them and the bearings are fine.

I'm not so sure that the splice count is the same between 1.5 and 1.8 driveshafts and CV's, hubs..
You will be the one to tell us if they are the same.

I've been told they are the same. I will probably replace the bearings in the 1.8 hubcarriers anyway as preventative maintenance but will need to look into whether the splines are the same first in that case.
