Hello,
I bought a 1.5glx ba in not so good condition and trying to make it properly good.
the car had a mild crash from previous owner so the rear bumber was cracked. As i checked in wheel aligment the rear right wheel is in every setting in toe out position ant the front "shorter" trail arm is curved. That was very strange because with a curved trail arm the logical was my wheel to be in more toe in setting and not the opposite.
So I am guessing that they used other type longer trail arm and they tried to bent it to make it shorter. Or they used a rear longer trail arm to the front

who knows)
So i was thinking to solve this problem and was a good moment also to upgrade to rear discs setup.
The most of my readings here i saw that they use all the axle system from a ba v6 2.0 model and just change the hubs to 4x100, or another way is to use the rear knuckle of mx3 v6 with the discs included.
From a research to mazda parts catalogue i found that the nect model 323 Bj uses rear disc setup in the 1.8 litre model and the dimension is 261mm (10mm bigger) 4x100.
In the pictures of the epc all seem the same except the center cross member (sub frame) that is a bit different in mounting. Has only 4 big bolts to tighten in the chassis and not 6 like the ba models... But except the cros member part all others seems combatible.
So my question is have anyone ever thinked or tried to use all the parts for disc conversation of the Bj 1,8 323?
Thanks,
Alex
