I was hoping if anyone knew if the brakes (or hubs and everything) from a 1999 Premacy 1,8 would fit my 1,5 BA? They look similar to the BA V6, but I don't know for sure! If anyone knows anything, I'd really appreciate the help! If they fit, I can make a guide (although it would be exctly the same as for a V6 conversion.) Any help is welcomed, and if you know for sure it won't fit, please let me know before saturday

Yes, they fit with modifications, and now she stops like never before! Also, has anyone ever tried putting 1998 626 rear hubs on a BA? If no one answers I'm gonna spend saturday morning on the scrappy to see what happends! |

Good work  Try the rear hubs if they're free, but I don't think they fit - I think the BA has 22mm stub axles, the 626 has 24mm I believe. I could be wrong though

After seeing the condition of the 626 up close, Im gonna keep my distance for now... But hopefully i can buy the parts I need from a member on here, unless the shipping is insane

So you'll not be needing those alloys then if you go for a five stud hub then? Can you see where I'm going with this?

I've been thinking of you! I even bought an identical set, just for the sentre caps! If you want them, I can strip the tires and ship you all 8, but keep in mind theyre worth about 2000NOK (£200), or I can ship you just a couple of sentre caps

Yes, but they could do with a refurb, one centre cap is missing (never got it from the guy i bought the second set from) and one rim is damaged (probably hit a curb or something, so there is a crack and dent on the inner edge) I will check with an "expert" to see if it is salvageble, and if he can do it for a fair prize. The guy can weld two coke-cans together, so this should be a breeze. I'll pm you some pics if you are interested. |
