So my 1.8 has most of the easy mods; CAI, headers, freeflowing exhaust and apart from tuning I don't think there is anything left that's worth the money considering where I live however I was wondering for those that have had a strut bar on the front of your BA, did it make it feel different or better in corners? I know how they work in theory and such but obviously the application of it will have varying results.

I think they make a difference, I have a whiteline front strutbrace and I'm sure it helps. I also have a whiteline rear anti roll bar and they make a noticeable difference to the handling.

Bang for buck the rear anti roll bar will make the most noticeable improvement
That was the first brace we bought... now we have front and rear whiteline strut tower braces, Ultra racing middle room brace and C pillar brace

Any pictures of those barces and thier locations on the car, i know the rear anti roll one and front upper strut brace, its the c pillar brace and mid one ive not seen before....cheers

C pillar brace is the top white one, the one below it is the rear strut brace:

Room Brace is this one:

cheers for those ones guys....impressive, im guessing is a whole lot more noticeable from just the front and rear uppers?

No worries, yeah it does stiffen the chassis up, no where near as much as a roll cage would though :P

after fitting the rear strut brace about an hour ago, i would definately recommend getting one, i had just the front and there was an improvement, now i have front and rear the car is a lot tighter and feels a lot more planted on the road

I'd also say go for the rear anti roll bar as well, I have all three and they really work well
