So it seems that this is a common problem with these cars. That nasty rattle when you shut the car door making the car sound like a transit van. You may also have the problem of the window not sealing against the rubber or the window glass might be excessively loose. Well today i went to tackle this problem as i was sick of the hand car wash power washer squirting through the gap in the window and blasting me in the side of the face
Tools needed.
Socket set with 10mm socket
Torx bit set
Posidrive screwdriver to remove the door card.
It's really simple taking the glass out. First remove the door card, then wind the window down to about this level

This is the area where you need to undo 3x10mm nuts.

You only need to slacken 2 of the nuts off as they sit inside the window regulator. The last remaining nut needs to be removed completely. It will all make sense when you are doing it.
Once those are done, remove the 2 stop brackets at the very top of the door, one at each end. They stop the window coming all the way out the door and are adjustable. They are held in with a single 10mm bolt. The glass is ready to come out now. Just pull it upwards and manipulate it out the door.
The common problem is this nut/Torx bolt coming so loose that it falls off completely.

And fitted to the window

It's good practice to tighten all the nuts up. I just used a 10mm socket and Torx bit. The disc didn't slip as i tightened it.
Put some grease in the runner, then refit the window as you removed it. Obviously it's harder to fit the window, than remove it, so be patient and it will go in. Tighten the 3 nuts, then refit the stop brackets and adjust as necessary. You don't want them adjusted too high as the window will catch the trim on the roof of the car. Trial and error comes into play here, I'm sure anyone can figure it out.
