This might seem like a daft question but I want to do an oil change.... So..... I was wondering how much oil the engine actually holds and what type of oil people would recommend??  (for a 1.5) oh and one more thing would anyone recommend using and engine flush at the same time?? is it actually worth it??

You should find the figure for the oil capacity in your handbook. There may well be a copy of details like that on the 'INFO' section of the website. I remember it to be 4 Litres. (Mind you, they say the same for the V6 but that turned out to be 5 Litres!!) Engine flush is a great idea (if you haven't done it recently, that is!! You should do at least 12,000 mile in between each clean) I used Ecotek's PowerBoost on my 1.5 before and plan to do the same fo the 2.0 soon. |
