i have just bought a new 323f 1.5glxi. very happy with the car i sold my ford focus to get it as the focus was so boring.

the car has done 52000 miles and recently had its timing belt changed by a mazda dealer about 1000 miles ago.

the car hasn't had a full service for about 10,000 miles and my main question is should i get it serviced now or would the dealer have done this as a matter of course when changing the belt. the belt change cost £120.00 so would it have had it done then?

cheers

richard

Going by the price, i would suggest that the car has only had the belt changed, as a basic service normally costs over £100, and a major service can be several hundred. the easiest way to check would be to have a look at how clean and new the oil filter, and air filter looks, or phone the garage and ask.
