My aerial has buggered.

It starts to move but then stops, hasnt been used for a six weeks so thought it jus needed oiling but still dont work?
any ideas what could be wrong?

Cheers

I also had a problem with the aerial when i first bought the car, in which it kept going up and down of its own accord, so i rewired the remote turn on cable and now it works fine, so that would be my first port of call.

if you can pull ariel up by hand if it comes up enough that is you should then be able to pull all the way up. clean & spray with wd 40 & try going up & down if not you will have to stip out motor from car then take it apart quite easy to do.
