Right so, I bought a '97 323f BA 1.8 Executive in August and I absolutely love it. The car is healthy mechanically and the ultimate goal is to turbocharge it. I have a few questions regarding this and I hope someone here can help me.

1. How much power can my standard gearbox handle? Since it's a '97 I believe it would have the F series box but don't quote me

2. If the standard gearbox is too weak for big power, what are my options? Would the gearbox from a 2.0 626 fit?

3. Since it's the same engine, do all the usual MX5 performance parts like cams fit?

4. What turbo would be a good option? I was thinking to either get a TD04, K04S or maybe something like a Garrett T2.

5. Would an MX5 ECU work?
