Can't say I've ever heard this mentioned but would presume it could only becoming through the floor - unless your sunroof is leaking(if you've got one?)? Check for a water mark adjacent to the sunroof before getting the car on a ramp and checking out the underbody for anything obvious. A thorough coat of underseal in the appropriate place may cure your problem. Richardesty |

There are 2 drainage plugs around that area used when the car is orginally painted, the rubber bung could have come loose. This happened on an different make of car that i had. Neither mine or the wifes 323f's suffer from this, sorry cant be more helpful |

check door card plastic covers, you need to remove door cards then check membrane for any gaps as the water runs into door then past trim into floors before it gets to drain holes at bottom of doors. if that looks ok check roof drain tubes are connected & not blocked. |

Mazdazman, I have a similar problem. The drivers side headlining gets wet after rain in a particular direction. It's not the sunroof or drainage holes (I've taped them up and still had the problem). I taped up above the door over the front half of the car and that stopped it, so I'd say that's problem area. Spoke to Mazda dealer and they recconned maybe new door seals (I think they were about £100 a side + fitting) or just resetting the seals. A while back I swapped the front wheels for the rear wheels (long story). This involved jacking up each corner twice (no axle stands!) thus twisting the car slightly (?). Since doing this, the leak is not so bad - making me think resetting the seals might just solve my problem. How easy is it to reset the door seals? Could it be anything else? Should I just take it to Mazda? (Don't want to as they've seen me off before). Cheers, Mark |

No, haven't checked that - is it easy? and how do I know if it needs it adjusting? Pretty sure it's the original glass as it's pretty scored from going up and down over the last 10 years. Cheers, Mark |

remove door trim. near top of door 2 14mm spanner size nuts that are slotted for glass stop. with window at highest position check it seals against seals if not slacken nuts and alow glass to go up @ 2-3mm retighten nuts lower & raise glass again and recheck. may need to do again but like i said have never had problem with actual seals. alternatly with door card off do waterhose check but best if 2 people do it so 1 can sit in to check where water is coming from |
