Has anyone bought one of these from this guy on Ebay... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 19060&rd=1 I've emailed him to ask him if the 323f v6 is covered but no answer so far. I've just got the EPC2 from another chap, and that proves to be a good second best, but workshop procedures would be better. The seller's feedback is patchy, but I'd take a punt if I know someone else reckons this blagged CD is okay. Opinions? |

Before you buy that CDROM manual, better read this thread "http://www.maz323f.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php4?t=1677&highlight=workshop" and make sure you are not getting the same one ... |

Aha! It looks suspiciously like the same bit of software, and there's enough other similarities in the description to put me off. So, in the absence of an answer from the seller I'll not be bothering. I'll keep you all posted if I get an answer in the near future. Cheers, Ken. |

I bought one from www.WorkhopManuals.co.uk and as far a I can tell there is NO info specifically for the 5 door BA model, and nothing for the V6 engine. The manual was claimed to cover all models so I complained by email and (surprise) have heard....... squat. Don't spend your money. Not until this is resolved anyway. |

I'm pretty sure it's not the correct manual - silence from the seller is telling. I may go for Haynes USA ISBN 1 56392 440 4 Try punching in that number at http://www.bookbrain.co.uk It'll cover the 2.5 in the Probe, and perhaps some of the mechanicals are similar - the rest I can deal with eye-ball wise. As far as the issue with manuals being "resolved" is concerned - I wouldn't advise 323f owners (let alone V6 drivers) to hold their breath. No commercial outfit is going to produce anything now for a car that's not in production. In the future it may become a classic (I doubt that sadly) and attract interest but... We need some Mazda inside-source with the old dealership manuals to scan them in, or at least offer them on loan to someone who can. I'd do it if I can could a hold of the source material - don't much fancy spending the £150+ often quoted. |

I have the "Mitchell-on-demand" cd, and indeed it does not include the 323V6, but is useful in sense of doing "normal" kinda stuff (brake pads, bleeding etc) Having a V6 the best site I have come across is specifically for 626/MX-6, but is applicable for MX-3 and 323F V6 and Xedos 6 & 9 - Put up by Julian Bradbury this is a mirror site: http://home.btconnect.com/ken.holland/probemx/ Also based on the MX-6 is the forum: http://www.mx6.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=28 This is very very helpful concerning all V engined Mazdas, including Ford Probe, many a thing have I learnt from these people!! |
