Anyone got or had a 2.0 V6 Lantis (import) 1995?
If so where in blue hell did you get it insured? Having a nightmare getting mine insured and thats without listing mods - Lowered, induction, chipped!!
Can anyone help?

Yep, tried them, £733 before i'd declared the mods and I'm 27 with 5 years no claims. Wai tells me thats not a bad quote so may have to bite the bullit on this one, she's worth it anyway.  Still shocked me a bit as the 19! year old I bought her off was paying £1200 through Flux, surely there's some advantage to getting old! 
But if anyone has any other suggestions let me know Cheers |

Most of these companies will not touch an import. Try Privilege, they insured my import 323 |

Thank you Trinie, that was my point. Confused.com basically told me not a chance in hell! Admiral told me they do imports just not my model! I'll give privilege a try. Thanks for the list Copper  but I was trying to see if anyone had an import, whom did they use, as it could take me weeks/months to get through that list!
But very useful none the less. Mark, Craig, could you stick this list somewhere more permenant? |

...it may depend on what part of the country you're in but Norwich union were one of the most EXPENSIVE quotes that I got!! ..this was a couple of years ago so things may have changed a little but the difference between NU and the cheapest I found (Tesco) was phenomenal!! NU wanted about £1200 against about £800 from others. Now with Adrian Flux. ...so No, I DON'T like them!! :P Glad you're happy though, but I have a feeling you didn't get the best deal.......

hmm, NU was nearly £1k cheaper than everywhere else (prolly coz i 17) i did try tescos but they wernt ne good. i didn't try adrian flux though. i mite try them next yr as everyone raves about them. should have sum mods to declare next year as well though as in the not too distant future i lookin for alloys, springs n front spolier (18th Bday in december  )

Got my insurance sorted, Performance Direct, £669 protected, fully comp, all mods declared! Not bad. If you talk to them try Steve Foxhall, he knew what I was talking about unlike most of the others, bit of a geezer but knows his shit. |
