found out my temperature sensor was knackered so My local mechanic is gettin me one tomorrow - said that was the problem I was driving home from the garage and it went mental! The rev counter needle flicked all over the place the temp and fuel gauges were twitching and all the service lights in the dash kept flashing radomly, and it kept stalling. Then immobilser turned it's self on and then off - and all in town centre!! I'm so ashamed!! I felt like I was in close encounters of the third kind!! (apart from all the locals looking and laughing at my poor 323f) After much forcing it begrudgingly moved and sputtered down the road with several weird noises coming from the nearside wheel. Anyone ever had that done to them?? or can some one tell me what thew hell happened!! |

Never had that before, but many moons ago I did buy a Ford Probe and I had a problem with the immobiliser, it used to cut in when driving, apparantly this was a common fault with that type of immobiliser. The garage did something to it and sorted it... could be something to do with that but I doubt it. |

Yeah, They aren't that bad I suppose, but they're a b*****d to service! I did 3 weeks work experience at a Ford Dealership, and We found them a pain in the a**e, and problem prone! Like you said Each To Their Own! Least you had the sense to switch to a 323F!!!!
