Mazdazman,
I have a similar problem. The drivers side headlining gets wet after rain in a particular direction. It's not the sunroof or drainage holes (I've taped them up and still had the problem). I taped up above the door over the front half of the car and that stopped it, so I'd say that's problem area. Spoke to Mazda dealer and they recconned maybe new door seals (I think they were about £100 a side + fitting) or just resetting the seals.
A while back I swapped the front wheels for the rear wheels (long story). This involved jacking up each corner twice (no axle stands!) thus twisting the car slightly (?). Since doing this, the leak is not so bad - making me think resetting the seals might just solve my problem.
How easy is it to reset the door seals?
Could it be anything else?
Should I just take it to Mazda? (Don't want to as they've seen me off before).
Cheers,
Mark
