i just bought some osram silver stars, supposed to be 50% brighter and i have to say that i have been quite impressed.
That's what I got - couldn't remember!

The 'wheel' only effects the dipped lights not main beam if that helps.

The headlamp height adjuster only worked on one light on my car until I took her in to have the alignment checked (they were too low anyway) and the mechanic found the motor was disconnected on the one unit. D'oh!
"0" on your adjuster wheel is the normal position, so you need to have your alignment checked at this setting (I think it's done using high beam).

Ok can someone explain please lol - this is how i understand the lights:

Lights has 2 settings 1 & 2, being sidelights and main lights.

Then you have Flash - also same as Full.

So the H1 bulb = Flash & Full beam

The H3 bulb = Sidelights / main beam.

Or is the H1 the main beam and Flash/Full beam ?

Help lmao - I want to get upgraded bulb for my normal driving lights - I class as main beam - maybe also known as dipped ? Which bulb do I need H3 or H1 ?

Cheers - and I make apologies now for being thick ;)

Light switch has 2 'radial' settings 1 & 2.

1 is side lights - the ones next to the front indicators
2 is 'main beam' (the ones that are on the outside of the headlight units) and side lights

Pull the stalk for Flash - regardless of swith position
Push for Full beam, side lights and main beam when switch is in position 2

So the H1 bulb = Flash/Full beam
The H3 bulb = main beam.
501 capless wedge = sidelights

You want the H3 bulb for main beam.
