Keyless entry system...

Just bought an '98 model of 323F and It's a Lefty as I'm not from UK.
The previous owner told me that the car supposedly has an keyless entry system but that the guy he bought the car from never gave him the remotes. Where is the keyless entry system unit located, as if i want to find out if the car has one and is the only way to get the remotes from my local Mazda dealer?

Keyless entry was never a factory option i dont think!

would most probably be an aftermarket kit

Thx 323F Rock
Ok. Could be an aftermarket kit, any ideas what and where to look for, to find out?

The are most often fitted either in the passenger foot well or under the drives side dash, remove the clock surround and it may be under there strapped to the round cross member.

if it's a V6 - the remote sensor for the keyless unit is a little black box on the courtesy light panel on the roof
