right was fitting my subs to my new 1.5 ba the day and took the positive of the battery for 2 mins to fit power cable went to put power back on and car wont start and my arlam goes of even through it is disconected cany any one tell me how to turn the imobiliser of ??????????????????

Check to see if you have a round key with your keys, if so that is possably your overide key, normally found uder the dash on drivers side.

Would need to know the make/model of the alarm/immobiliser before being able to help with specifics, can say though if the siren is going off when you pull the cables out of the alarm it sounds like a battery backup siren (has a small rechargeable battery within the siren itself, so if someone tampers with it, it goes off).

Does the siren stop if its left for a while? Might reset itself and let you start the car, depending on what its programmed to do in the event of this kinda thing happening.

na i dont i only have the master key

Hi i have a cobra 5801 alarm if this helps

you need the little key to turn off the cobra box. then start car. then turn box back on. Short of that try using the remote to turn it off

cheers but dont have the remote and some one has broke a key in the box any otherr ideas????????????????????

If the key is broken in the box, you should be able to turn the switch using a screwdriver, which should then disarm the alarm syatem, then follow the instructions from Paul323F

Cheers for the help problem solved CHEERS

great news mate.

Just wondering, will the alarm sound when you've pull the IGN fuse in the fusebox in the engine bay?

(yes, I know it's for Ignition)
