cobra alarm

i have a cobra alarm on my car and when i went to a meet someone had the exact same alarm is this factory fitted if yes gr8 if not i have to get a certificate from somewere for my insurence

!

a think it was an optional extra bud....mines got one as well

My car came with a Cobra Alarm but the wires were cut and I got no fobs from the dealer I bought her from.

Think there was a guy who used to come on here by the name of Sanj who worked for Mazda and said they were an optional extra on cars.

I think your insurance would need a certificate from whoever fitted it, which would be difficult now...and I doubt it would be thatcham approved anyway??? :dontknow:

the one i got is a CAT 1 so if its the same it should be :/

iv told my insurence its cat 1 ill just tick the box that says factory fitted and hope no questions are asked:P cheers guys ill be makin more posts soon as im trying to get my car sorted (modified) just got the sideskirts on ill get some photos up as soon as i can

so ppl can let me know what they think

hummm my insurance wont have it that it was a optional extra or thacham which is pretty gay and nealy caused my insurence to be canceled (not cool) they said you will have to fill out the forms again and send them back b4 the 19th.... the date at the time was the 17th and there was a postal strike had to steal my sisters scanner to get my signiture onto some documents they sent me what a kuffuel

what sort of idiot insurance company are you with? my last BA had one but my insurance didnt reduce the price 4 alarms, my new BA doesnt have one however.

nig though adrian flux... in the end after all the fuss they made about it they turned around and said your car is not worth more than £3500 and the area ur in you dont need a alarm so we wont bother...... after all the fuss not impressed

adrian flux can suck my bollux, i went to them and they were useless.

why is it insurance companies in this country can do everything in their power to charge you more and when it comes to claims they will try their hardest not to pay out!

lol if i ever make a claim (hope i wont have to) if they say... oh there is a alarm on this car... we dont have that were not paying.... ill kill someone
