my aerial seized up a while ago so i bought a replacement, only problem is mine is pre ford and the replacement is post ford, i have 3 wires to connect and 6 pins on the aerial to choose from, could anybody please help with what should go where, maybe a picture of the connector block or a diagram would be handy. cheers |

on the post ford blue is permanent feed pink is up and down feed black is negative hope that helps |

i know which wire is which, but i need to know which pin on the aerial each goes to as in the diagram above |

fitted today and works a treat, i took the circuit board out of the aerial and checked what the pins were labelled as on the back then crimped a connector on each wire and connected straight on to the pins. if anybody else ever needs to fit a post ford aerial to a pre ford car this is the layout. gnd x x stereo b+ x gnd=black stereo=pink b+=red/blue |
