| Post subject: | New Headunit and Ariel Problem |
Just bought meself a Pioneer DEH-50UB, which is lovely. Only problem is that the ariel doesn't go up when i turn it on any more, just sits there and does bugger all. I'm assuming this is something to do with the head unit, any one have any ideas? |

Have you got the ariel power lead plugged in from the head unit. Think its a orange one. |

Or the big black one with the big silver connecter. Also are you turning the radio on or just going straight to CD? My aerial only goes up when I'm using the radio as I've turned af/ta off |

All of the connections seem to be fine. I'm turning the radio on, it searches through the frequencies and finds nothing. I'm assuming the aerial motor is fine because it worked this morning before i fitted the new one |

Just found the problem, one of the connections had broken way back down the trail of wires. Strange it worked with the old stereo like it though, but nevermind. Thanks for your help anyways guys |
