I am fitting an amp to my n reg 1.8 glx and cannot find a good place to run the power cable through the bulk head from the battery to the inside of the dash, if someone can help me on this is would be much apprieciated, Cheers Scott

You should be able to find a black rubber eye above the pedals inside the car. You may have to look behind some of the sound deadning mat but there should be one there. Just slice a hole in it and poke something through it and then open the bonnet and have a look at the back ((drivers side) and you should see where it is. Apart from that, by a new rubber eye and drill a hole around that area. Fit the eye into the hole and youll be sorted, but be careful!!!

OK if you go into the passenger foot well and just right of the center (you may need to pull the carpet back is a gromit that has loads of electric cables running through it. Carefully pierce the gromit and place something shiny or notice able through. Now from inside the engine bay look down between the engine bay and the battery and you will see the shiny thing sticking out of the gromit and its then simply a case of feeding the cable through.

One thing do not make the home to big, just a little slit will do. As the rubber will expand to the size of the cable and you will keep the water proof seel.

Heres a place where u can put pics and details of ur car. I'd love to see the pics of ur speakers and stereo setup. Ive been thinking abt squeezing 3way splits in my doors too. How does it sound ??
