howie, i think you should enquire your local mazda dealer and see if they would let you take pictures of your car in their showroom :)

I'm not so keen on the blue headlight protectors - they look a bit odd against the other lights on the car...maybe if they all had the same tint :dontknow:

I'm leaning that way myself Marc, do prefer the clear look with matched lights, but it was worth trying them

...........and looks like there is some other interest in them already ;)

nice work on the garage floor and that reminds me yet another thing that's needed to be done around the house! mind you I don't have anywhere to store all my junk that's currently in there so I can paint the floor.

And the headlight protectors I'd prefer them clear or an even darker tint

I think you should de-orange your indicators Howie - that'll look fantastic on your car :thumbleft:

I've got a pair of spare straight pin chrome amber flashing bulbs in that garage somewhere if you want them Howie.

Was saving them for sapres but seeing the Mini and my BJ uses offset pins, I don't really need them no more

There ant no orange in Howies indicators we did that one last year??

As for the tint, Howie try using photoshop to colout all the lights the same tint would be interesting if they all matched.
I think what is really letting the blue tint down is that you've not painted the two black plastic mounts on the new ones ;)

There definitely is some orange in there...

maybe you need some silvervision bulbs Howie, so the colour doesn't show when they're off ;)

Cheers Nick,

de-oranged them last year and already use silver bulbs too. ;)

What I think my new camera has picked up is a reflection of me taking the photo in the silver bit of the sidelights.

There is no orange visible in this shot from a different angle:

Nice work on the garage Howe. I did mine not long ago, but there was so much oil and crap on the floor, a lot of it has flaked off :(

Decided to tackle the garage walls, as the floor turned out so well.

Sealed and painted them with a light coloured masonry paint:

Really pleased with them, finishes off the garage and should help reduce the dust too ;)

Great idea with the door protection strips Howie! I de-bump striped my F yesterday, so those will be going on the walls of our garage!
