Sorry, recurring brian fail typo with the 15w30

Interestingly, I have returned consistantly better miles p/g with the 5w30 driving normally than with the 0w30 driving like a granny

Had the cam cover and dizzy off today to try and stop all the oil leaks. replaced everything with a liberal dose of hylomar.... sorted

buying some HID's for maddy but cant remember what i need for the bosch lights whether its H1 or H3...anyone help me out?

H1 for Bosch lights

For Koitos you can use both as far as i know

HID's for brights is illegal as it is a reflector but lets be honest when was the last time you drove with brights on?!? personally I want to do the same thing just for colour matching the lights on the front end

HIDs are not "legal" in your BA, whether in a reflector or projector lamp. It was not designed for them. As of 2012 it will form part of the MOT - cars fitted with HID lamps will need to have self leveling lamp units and headlamp washers.

There are a few new cars fitted with HIDs in reflector lamps - it makes no difference legally, but it is easier to maintain the beam pattern with aftermarket HID bulbs with projector lamps...

In my opinion, don't use HIDs in your high beams, as they take a while to warm up and give full light output - and also do not like being flashed on quickly...

Okai so after me treating maddy to some new lights and a few other things which will be updated on saturday

she decides to go and develope a very annoying knocking noise. Not sure what it is at this moment but i shall investigate tonight when i get in from work. The knocking noise isnt constant but is sometimes louder than other and it turns into a very scary grinding type noise when the wheels are turning slowly, pulling up to a set of lights. It does incease with speed but when i knocked her out of gear and ran down a hill, it was still present so i presume its not an engine issue.
