Hi Spencer,

There are a few insurance providers that spring to mind:
Adrian Flux - https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/car-insurance/
Lancaster - https://www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk/
Heritage - https://www.heritagecarinsurance.co.uk/

Of course you could always try the old comparison websites as sometimes the normal insurance dealers can give you similar if not better deals.

Whenever I visit the classic car and restoration shows at the NEC - most of the road going cars there are supported by Lancaster insurance so that may be your best bet mate :thumbleft:

No worries dude, give them a go and see what you get back! It'll be interesting to hear what you get.

You could try these guys too - they regularly post on this forum and should be able to provide a quote

Ring 0800 3308057 or 0333 4001580 for a quote!

Hi Spencer,

If you're a paid-up member of a car club, then mention that to them specifically as well, as that can also bring down your premium (e.g. I'm a gold member here, and Flux give me a discount). I presume insurers think car club members are generally more careful with their vehicles :)

It might not be any benefit if you're going for specific classic insurance (I don't know if the two things will stack), but if you can't find a good classic deal then joining a club should help the cost on a standard deal (it has helped me, anyway).

(And obviously, join this one! ;) )

Anecdotal evidence of course but whilst Heritage were ok with me for my Charade the company itself I was insured with (Tower) were terrible, wanting to downgrade my agree valuation partway into the term as they couldn't find other cars like mine for sale at the same price, of course not, there's only 30 left on the road and rarely come up for sale and mine is one of the better ones. I Tried to persuade them different with the help of a club member who saves adverts for these but no go as they weren't recent.
Stuck then, until I found Footman James which were cheaper, easier and better cover, on 2nd year and still no problems. Have heard A-Plan are good but my own branch to me were too pushy with sales on my normal everyday car so kept clear, this is just a branch though
