Got a problem with the car.

Happend all of a sudden.

Very flat and lumpy through the gears. Not so bad at high revs.

It's a misfire. What sort of things could it be? Any common problems on these? Had the car 5 years with no trouble at all...it has done 138,000 miles and only last week was the first part change. A thermostat. (not including wear and tear parts, timing belt, clutch)

Anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks

plugs leads or dizzy
maybe split in the air intake pipe
or MAF sensor

Plug and leads?

Yep, I have the same thing usually at low revs and cruising speed, mine turned out to be feckered plugs

yer I too suffer from similar problem. New plugs makes it go away.

For me there is something else also at fault cause I get through plugs in about a month or two. However if I run the car on Shell optimax it runs alot better.
