Well, had a right time of it tonight. Driving up the A78 and all of a sudden
the wipers got to the top of ther cycle and decided to stop It didn't help that it's monsoon season up here in Ayrshire so had to drive the remaining 8mile using the force

It was the connecting rod under the panel below the windscreen that had came loose but the plastic bearing inside was totally Goosed. I had to drill right through it and the metal bearing underneath so that I could put a cable tie through it, seemed to do the trick for now

Does anyone know how much the connector rod costs new from Mazda as I think that's what it's going to take to sort properly ?????

I'm also on the hunt for another BA, possibly the V6 but as you lot'll know, they're like finding rocking horse shite!!!!

Hopefully one will turn up or an 18 would do.
