Hi, I have been a sleeping member on here for many years (2004) with my Type R, but I am now in the process of purchasing another car so the Type R will shortly be available.
Will anyone be interested.

Depends where you are but yes, interested, hope it's not as rusty as my "Fintstone" ZXi in my back garden though!

Show it to us! we like pictures..

I'm in Southampton, see photos as requested.

Black? Dark blue? Anyway, that doesn't matter at the end of the day, looking good and definitely interested now, Southampton not so far away

Hi,
I have now purchased my next car and am in the process of transferring my private number plate.

A number of you have shown an interest (on message board and private messages) and have asked for further details. So please see below.

Reason for changing cars
Reality of being a pensioner

History
Manufactured in Japan 1995
Imported into the UK in 2000
Purchased by me 2001 with a mileage of 29,522
Had accident (not my fault) and insurance considered the car to be repairable but not economical, so gave it a cat C allowing me get the work done (body parts and near side rear wheel/suspension)
As required VOSA vehicle checked after repair (pass certificated) 2009 with mileage of 58,925
Used and passed MOT (with normal minor items) every year since averaging 6/7000 miles a year
Mileage now 110,000
When the car was imported it was registered (and still is) as, Mazda 323 Lantis, in the log book, as I assume they were not being very precise
Please see the attached picture of the Vehicle Identification Label on the car stating Type R Special Edition (not sure what special edition means)

If interested please continue to let me know as it would be nice if it went to a fellow member.

Hi Mike,

a nice looking car, it does you credit.

My father had to get rid of his BA for the same or a similar reason- luckily he sold it to me! And he still garages it for me.

I think he still likes a ride in it every so often.

Good luck with the sale!
