My heaters wont blow hot air on my 1991 1.6 16v by pop up light model I've changed the thermostat but no change so want to check the two pipes which run to the fire wall , was wondering if anyone knows the capacity of water and coolant I'll need to replace once I take them off and see if there blocked? Please

if you can remove one and raise it above all others you wont lose the fluid but you'll have to block where it connects to. that way you can check for blockage by lowering the raised pipe to a container and removing coolant cap. if its blocked it will not empty the tank. if it flows well just reconnect the pipe and return the coolant you've collected, maybe a small top up to replace any slight loss and/or air lock
