Hey guys... so I've brought this air filter by K+N on the recommendations of this forum, and I was wondering if anyone had any guides knocking around, or could write up a quick how-to on how to do it? My step-dad's offered to help, but I wanted to have a crack at it myself first...

PS, I have a 92' BG with fuel injection.

The 57i (and correct me if I'm wrong someone) is one that's pretty much made for this car, but listen to Marc, he knows his stuff...

i had a standard cone one on my old gt, and it hit the body, and suffered water ingress
Get a short cone one, or a mushroom type, should be fine...

if you've got the cash, get the K&N, if not, have a look on ebay

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0284776948

but you'll need an adaptor for the maf... they are a couple of quid...

I'm pretty sure I have a spare adaptor too... couple of quid on paypal and it's yours... ;)

This is what I have:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0010765834

I brought one to go with my K+N, but it already had one in... so I need to get rid of it, look how much I paid... =/

Hopefully, hopefully, all depends... I go back to University on that day, so I'd have to drive an hour to University to drop my stuff off, 20 minutes to the meet, hang about with everyone, drive an hour and a bit to get back home to drop the car off with my dad (he looks after it while I'm at Uni) then get him to either drive up to Nottingham with me to drop me off or get a train back...

Chances are I will come though, I'll just find a better way of organising the day, haha!
