Hi guys,

Well it's been nearly 3 years since I logged in here but you're a good bunch so I thought I'd come back and check out what's going on!!

So since selling my BJ, I bought a Mazda 3 which was awesome!

And around 6 months ago I decided to move to Australia for a few years. I've had a Holden for a while, but surfing gumtree I managed to find a 1994 Mazda 929! Leather seats, 3.0 V6 engine, 4 wheel steering! And I'm picking it up tomorrow!

I might have to get a few pics up. She's a bit rough but I'm going to tidy her up a bit!

G'day mate,

good to hear you're in Oz too, I need some backup here :-)

Also have 2 3's... BK SP23 and BL2 MZR-CD.

Been trying to tell 'em how many BAs there still are on the road here, some in good nick and low k's. Maybe some of the Britz (oops) will move here and look after 'em and not campervans!

Saw a V6 go for <$3k with <100k km (well, so they said anyway) on gumtree recently.

My BA thread in case you're interested.

Cheers,

Patrick

Yep I'll get some pics up in the next few days!!

And yes Patrick! So many BA's, and also BJ's (including the sedan which you don't really get in the UK!) Plus there's still older models kicking around from the 80's too.

It's so nice to see so many old cars here which haven't rotted away. It's also nice to never worry about getting an MOT/roadworthy!

Which state are you in?

I'm in the ACT- Australian Capital Territory around Canberra, just in case you don't know. It's about 3 hrs SW of Sydney which is where the 323 is.

So I got her! Made it home. She's going to be sat on the driveway for a few weeks until I get a couple of tyres and other bits and bobs, then get it registered!

I'm in Adelaide Patrick!

Hopefully the pics work:
