I have a problem with my radio, which keeps loosing the radio signal, CD is working fine. I think the problem is something to do with the aerial? Checking the manual there is a connector near the base of the aerial (under the roof panel) How do I get access to this, preferably without removing all of the roof headliner?

You can get to it from the tailgate. Just ease down the roofliner enough to get to base of the aerial.

Thanks.
Do you have to remove any of the plastic trims? rear seat belt top linkages?

It was a while ago I had to do it. I think you just ease it out from the rubber seal and pull it down enough to access the nut holding the aerial in place.

If you want to lower the roof lining, the bolts are by the grab handles, otherwise you just pull. Poor signal is normally an earthing issue. I do have my aerial going spare if needed!

I managed to gain access to the aerial by taking out the three retaining pins on the roof panel near the hatch door, which gives you just enough room to get at the aerial. In the end the problem turned out to be a bad connection on the radio end, hopefully it's all fixed now. :)
