Good morning, did the 1.6 GSI come with a front strut brace? If not, is there one that will fit it from another 323F?

Thanks.

I'd imagine the brace from a sport would fit.

Not quite. It would need to be spaced as the VICS (part of inlet manifold) is a bit high. It's not quite as simple as some washers, but not much more.

I have a strut brace and connectors if you want. I have/had a 1.6 Gxi (it's being broken for parts too, so have stuff like braided brake lines, rx-8 drivers seat etc. if you're interested ;) )

Would be interested in the strut brace and connectors, am I right in assuming it is for a 323F sport?

Mine's a 1.6 Gxi (so same engine bay as yours), but I got it from a sport, and the sport is the only one that had a strut brace.
You can see a photo on my thread here: viewtopic.php?f=14&t=57651#p732301

Hi there, the brace you have fitted is the same as the one that came with the car when I got the car. It was in the boot, looked like it may have been fitted at some point, wear to mounting ends. Only thing is the brackets are not present on the strut towers, so it wont fit. So I am guessing that all I need is the strut tower brackets to fit it. It has plates on top of the strut towers but these do not align with mounting ends of the strut brace.

Yes that would be brilliant. How much do you want for them? Would you be able to post them?
