It's time. My 185/65/R14 will be gone soon. I will need new tyres on the front axle very soon so I don't think I will be buying 14" tyres again. :) my will is to have a much more nicer 195/45/R16 on it. But what wheels?

I'm an OEM wheel guy. It's hard for me to like aftermarket wheels, although I understand it's a much wider diversity of wheels. I've looked at a lot of brands and nothing seems to fit the car :? After starting this research for wheels, the only ones I liked until now are the OZ MSW 24 and 77, but they are 5 lug alloys and I need 4 lug :(

But...looking at Mazda wheels, there are 2 I like, from the Mazda 2. Both 16" and 4x100 pattern, exactly like my BJ.

I asked a friend to photoshop them and see how they would look like.

I think the first one looks really good. The only problem is I now have a 6" wide rim and ET 38 and both those wheels are 6,5" wide with an ET of 50. So the outside of the new rim would be 5.6mm inside, compared to what i have now. It's not much but I'm afraid it wouldn't look that good and maybe compromise the handling. I may need a smaller ET, from like 36 to 42 I guess :(

Any suggestions? :)

I love the 17" racing harts :) but they are rare and expensive to get.

I abandoned the idea of getting the Mazda 2 wheels, the ET it's just wrong for my car, and those rims would be a few mm to the inside.

For now I've gone for the MS24, I'm choosing where to buy them from.
