i have a 98 bj 323 protege and am wanting to know if any of the mx5 upgrades (brakes) would fit my car as i can find lots of upgrades for the mx5 but non for the 323. thanks

I doubt the mx5 brakes would be an upgrade, I mean it doesn't weigh a lot...

Braided hoses + caliper refurb.

Calipers are pretty powerful tbh. A refurb will sort em out as new, add braided hoses to remove sponginess (which to be fair mostly comes from the brake booster anyway) and that's as good as you're gonna get without some serious engineering - and that would be pointless unless you did the rest of the car too.

The brakes don't really lack in bite, higher temp discs and pads + some venting so they can run hotter for longer if you're looking for something that would be better on track so they can last a bit longer before fade kicks in. Race spec brake fluid would help too - but then you're replacing that more often.

bg gtr calipers and nb-fl 270mm discs bolt right on...i think the mazda 6 calipers are the same one than the gtr ones...
