Hi

I have a Mazda 323F from 2001 and I noticed that at higher speeds, especially during overtakes, the car has moments of pulling back. It happens mostly at over 65 mph, but sometimes (very rarely) at 50-55 mph too.
The mechanics have no idea what the issue is and, what's worse is they can't even reproduce it. It only happens on the road and not all the time. Does anyone have an idea of what could be wrong, or what should I check?

I am for HT leads too..
They tend to fail at higher load..
The spark search the least resistance..
Are the spark plugs ok( new or on low mileage)?
If they are old you should change them.

What engine have you got? How many miles? All service items in good nick?
I once had a half eaten butterfly valve sitting in my inlet ports that would do a sort of shudder...!
