Hello
I think you'll be struggling there .. I don't know of any BA-aged Mazda that had electric folding mirrors - if you mean that the folding bit is done by a motor.

I believe the CX5 has them, but they may not fit a BA. You could try getting some cheap ones off a scrapped Mark3 Clio (the top models had electric folding) but they may not be fittable to the BA.
 .

Surely they will not be adapted ... Mazda Lantis for the Japanese market had electric and folding mirrors. A few years ago here on the forum were for sale such. I am looking for such but there is nothing on the internet so I am asking on the forum

They exist!
Ask SerenaJ, Butch has Electric folding mirrors as far as i know.
Looking in my left side mirror housing, i noticed that there is a mounting point for motor and space for gears, another DIY job for future 8)

Lantis, Presso, MS-6, MX-6, even the BJ could be specced with power folding mirrors.
I'm also looking for a set from the Presso but this is a hard task unfortunately...
However, in the EU, some Xedos came with this option so if you want to do some DIY, this might be a good starting point.

At least you know and I know that they are like that :) So there are no such for sale? Nobody would have?
As if it was not you say HMT that all the engine from Xedos take and push into standard mirrors?

Well remembered, Todor! Yes I have a set for my post-Ford V6 :thumbleft:

Image

I believe they came from an early (pre-Ford) BA, although I don't know whether they were factory fitted as an option, or imported. They have not been modified - they fit onto the door just like the non-powered mirrors - but the wiring loom has been slightly modified to accept them.

They're currently off the car for repainting. *Looks at calendar, then looks hard at AndyM* :evil4:

Andy looked at swapping the casings and mounts with the ones from a standard set of BA mirrors, but those exterior parts are not the same, the folding mechanism wouldn't fit. So I doubt you'd be able to take a standard BA mirror / mirror mount and stuff a folding motor in there (though I stand correction, if anyone has heard of it).

As Jinglebells suggested, you're probably better off trying to find a complete set of mirrors from a different car, which fit the BA door; then you'd have to modify them to fit the BA loom.

if you just fit the bolt holes for the Mazda 323F BA plus the triangle ... just to paint it yourself sb I'll do ... just to make the engine from the folding mirrors were. Do you have a movie or does it work or something in BA?

Sorry Padro, I don't understand. Can you explain again? :thumbleft:

I remembered that these parts, which the mirrors mount onto, are also different. These are the ones for the power mirrors:

The ones for the standard post-Ford mirrors are different.

As the holes would match the original mountings in BA it would be great. Painting it is not a problem, I would paint it myself :) I would prefer a backlight to the BA mirror but anyway maybe the engine would be mounted from Xedos and it would work?
If they do not fit well, they will not go well and will sigh in the wind

Well, I learn something every day!
I've never had a V6 so didn't realise how much more luxurious than my 1.5 it is!

And what does one mirror have good and the other from the Ford? Did you have them in your BA?

Believe me, it's far less luxurious when you're lying underneath it trying to refit the PAS

Power mirrors weren't standard, usually the V6 just had the electrically adjustable ones that came with the 1.5. The main difference is the engine, and probably more options for pretty bits on the outside.

There's an original brochure online somewhere - I'll have to have a look.

On the Japanese market, these electric and electric folding mirrors were so hard to get ...

And do you sometimes have a headlight washer button and headlight washers?

There were many more options for different markets. Do you want the headlight washers?

It's not impossible, having some parts in stock, but the market in Germany is nearly dead for such parts. The fast bling, bling, power led, 19++ inch wheels etc. are interesting here  but not genuine OEM options.
Even the automatic climate is possible.

Send me a PM.

so what parts do we need to set the auto folding mirrors?
the engines for each mirror, the switch that I believe comes with the regulation pad in the same module and the door plastic cover for mirror/window switches that has a hole in the top of it
