Hello everyone..
Since my last "FUEL PUMP " post , at the end of march, my BA has been on the road till now. :(
When I started the car this morning I noticed that the inyector rail , near the belts is spraying fuel over the engine.
As pressure builds up in the fuel system, the first inyector sprays a thin cloud of fuel and I can´t see exactly where its coming from
I changed the original fuel pump recently ( march this year ) and placed a BOSCH universal one that the dealer said was 4.0 psi
Anybody know what to look for here ...?
Last week I chequed all spark plugs and they were all firing ok ...except that first one that was completely black and seemed not working
Thanks for the help.....

HI, all injectors has rubber seals on them preventing fuel leaking and assuring system pressure.See if the mist spray is coming from there.Use a cotton sheet or just some thin white rag and put it above the engine.Than start it and you will be able to see where the petrol is coming from. ;)
It also could be an old petrol line hose.. :)

I'd just replace the entire injectorrail and injectors for a set of used ones. It is probably the seal or the fuel line itself. They don't usually fail so the wreckers should probably have enough laying around in decent condition.

Thanks fellas...
What´s the shortest way of removing the rail ...? in order to avoid removing any unnecessary parts. I think my cam cover gasket won´t take another opening,,,

There's no long or short version on that..
Just remove everything that's in the way, remove electric sistem from injectors, unbolt the rail, undo the clips on the hoses and rrmove it with the injectors still on it..
