Mate, there are loads of under bonnet pics, need to know what the 'something' is :D

 realised that after I said it... my bad. Was able to get the bolts off to my surprise, had sprayed them with plusgas not too long ago so maybe that helped.

im after the sizes of all the hoses (lengths as well) of all the hoses for the radiator for my little BA 1.5

any help would be great or i will just take them all off her and do it that way

so it appears my suspicions were correct... I asked my german friend and he did a little searching and found this:
http://www.mazda-forum.info/121-323-626 ... j2003.html
use google translate if you're not good with german ;)

It appears the gasket set you possess is like the FS's gasket kit... it has a new set of intake shutter screws, and all of the gaskets belonging to the intake manifold. :)
since only the european ZM had a VICS system, this kit only is available in europe... but the FS kit (FSY1-13-SRZ) is the same worldwide, and the FS kit comes with a slip of paper with a parts listing inside.

Thank you :notworthy:

sorry to dig this up, but did you ever look for that white slip of paper with the listing?

According to the EPC, the 1.5 and 1.8 drivers side mount look to be exactly the same, brackets and all, its actually called No.2 mount, No.1 being, bizarrely, the front and back mounts  and No.4 is the gearbox mount.

Interestingly, you could use the bracket from a 1.8 BG but it doesn't have the secong piece that goes through the cambelt that the BA 1.5 and 1.8 have, useful to know if you're doing a BG GT swap :thumbright:

Thry're not cheap chap, mine were all shot after 18yrs abuse :?

Luckily, I was able to cobble together a good set from struts that we had spare and the set that Stuz sent me :)

As I recall, they're £40 each for the rears and £16 each for the fronts, which, actually isn't too bad, for the fronts anyway ;)

if you are lowered and want your bump stops lasting a lifetime (as long your car lives), import the bump stops off the mazdaspeed protege in the US... they were shorter and are stiff urethane instead of that rubbish foam that comes apart after several years :)

BN7H-34-111.... fits all BJs, and rear BA struts for sure..... if the sizes are the same in the front as the rears, then it will work in the BA's fronts also :)

Yup, those are the ones I was talking about... the prices shown are the MSRP.... you can get them cheaper from actual mazda dealers in the US that have internet stores, such as onlinemazdaparts.com, which also happens to gladly ship to the UK.

probably work in best interest for a number of you to get together as a group to buy these at one time to save on shipping costs

Can someone find me a part number pretty please :D

I need to order a n/s lower front ball joint for our 97 v6. Planning on ordering it from our local place as i want it for Saturday  .
When i rang them they only had one listed but couldn't tell me whether it was a 16mm or 18mm one.
Just want to double check that they have the correct one before ordering :p

Thanks in advance ;)

I have a Mazda 6 sport (2.3) 2004 and there is a Mazda 6 1.8 2003 in the local breakers, will the dip stick and clocks (speedo rev counter) fit my sport?

Also does the Speedo unit or the cars ECU hold the cars mileage?

I know its not a 323, but my last car was one, and you bunch are a lot more knowledgeable than the Mazda 6 forum!

the dipstick won't work... it's very different due to a different sump... if the car was a 2.0, it'll work
the clocks will require programming at the dealer because your car has different equipment as well as the PATS immobiliser system... almost all electronics on newer mazdas are "married" to the car... the only thing that you can't touch is the mileage, that is stored in the clocks
