I parked my Mazda 323f up outside my house and everything was fine. After 1 hour I came out got in my car and found it really hard to get a gear? I have had no warnings ie clutch slipping any noises nothing at all .... A clutch or a gearbox can't fail that quick can it?

is the clutch hard to depress? Can you get in to all gears or just 1st etc?

have you checked the linkages from the bottom of your gear stick? I have heard of these failing before but very very rarely.
